“My career in Radio began in my hometown of Goodland, KS. I worked at KLOE/KKCI/KWGB for a couple of years in high school, and I was hooked. I moved to Hays, KS to pursue a position for the group of radio stations situated at Eagle Communications. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies at Fort Hays State University, and spent 7 years working on classic rock, pop, and country music stations.

My journey has led me to the Capital City with Alpha Media Topeka. It has afforded me the opportunity to play the most legendary country you’ll hear in the sunflower state. My love of radio stems from my love of music, and the stories behind the songs. I thoroughly enjoy digging deeper and finding out more about the artists, albums, and songs that we love. And the great thing about country music? There’s no shortage of stories to tell.
I’ve lived in Kansas my whole life and radio is all I’ve ever known! I’m a big fan of seeing live music, playing guitar, collecting records, tapes, 8 tracks and all sorts of useless junk from yesteryear. I’ve always felt like I was born out of time, so it certainly feels like home being able to play legendary country on a daily basis. Thanks for listening!”
