Keith Urban Covers Taylor Swift’s “Lover”
After praising Taylor Swift’s Lover album on social media last week, Keith Urban covered the LP’s title track during his performance at the Washington State Fair over the weekend. Rolling Stone Country reports that Urban shared the cover on his Instagram page, writing, “Every now and then you hear a song that you love and wish you’d written and a HUGE thx to my band as well—we didn’t get to rehearse so this is us fully winging it.”
Swift responded to the cover on her own Instagram stories, writing, “Keith Urban covering ‘Lover’ flawlessly. I am screaming. This is so beautiful.”
