TARC’s Winter Wonderland at Lake Shawnee November 23rd-December 31st

Attend the 25th Anniversary  of TARC’s Winter Wonderland! The drive-thru light display will be open Wednesday, November 23rd and go until December 31st. 

Winter Wonderland is TARC’s largest fundraiser of the year and enables us to continue to enhances the lives of people affected by intellectual, developmental and related disabilities. We can’t wait for you to join us for the 25th Annual Winter Wonderland at Lake Shawnee Campground.

With over, 1 million dazzling holiday lights you can enjoy a scenic two-mile drive at Lake Shawnee Campground. The spectacular holiday light show is produced in partnership with Shawnee County Parks + Recreation.

The beautiful two mile drive-thru holiday light display benefits TARC. TARC is a not-for-profit service organization that provides service, support and advocacy to 2,500 children, families and adults with developmental, intellectual and related disabilities and delays in the Greater Topeka area. TARC was formed by a small group of families in 1954 and in the last 67 years has grown to serve 2,500 children, families and adults. Their programs and services include an infant-toddler program (tiny-k provider for Shawnee County), day services, case management, employment services, assistive technology, self-determination the only of its kind program in the state of Kansas and a unique interdisciplinary feeding clinic.

Winter Wonderland admittance is a suggested $10 donation per vehicle or $20 per bus gets you through the gate to enjoy our brightest year yet!
