The Washburn Ichabods return home to face Pittsburg State in a battle of 3-1 teams on Saturday in Yager Stadium.  Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Ichabods (3-1, 3-1 MIAA) are coming off a 47-44 win over Nebraska-Kearney in three overtimes in the longest game in school history.

The Gorillas (3-1, 3-1 MIAA) have won their last three games after a season-opening loss to then No. 20-ranked Central Missouri 34-27 in Pittsburg … Saturday’s game will be the second-consecutive road contest for the Gorillas after beating Lindenwood 50-19 last time out in St. Charles, Mo.

The Gorillas lead the all-time series 62-23-1, with the Ichabods six of the last 10 … Washburn won 28-21 in Pittsburg last season while the Gorillas won the last meeting in Topeka 42-0.
